It’s time for local home sales comparison reports. September home sales in Baxter Village were not bad when you look at homes sold compared to listing or asking price. Days on the market increased significantly and the homes sales transactions are down but a little better than the 30 plus percent down for the Charlotte metro market.
Here is the spreadsheet comparing the September year to year comparisons in Baxter Village

I do want to point out that the Charlotte MLS sales reports show only the most recent listed sales price. So if the agent changed the price during the course of the listing the current listed price may not be the original asking price. Other market reports estimate home prices in our area are down approx 9% from last year.
