The City of Tega Cay, SC always has many fun activities for the 4th of July. This year is no different. The city not only celebrates our Nation’s Independence, but also celebrates the City’s birthday.
This year the City of Tega Cay turns 30 years old. In fact, the SC Senate passed a resolution last week recognizing the City’s 30th anniversary.
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the City of Tega Cay and congratulate Mayor George Sheppard, the city council members, and the citizens of Tega Cay for three decades of displaying the charm and strength of this lakeside beauty spot.

8:00AM – VIP Breakfast in downstairs Glennon Center
9:30‐11:30AM – Land Parade – Tega Cay Drive Parade Line‐up @ 7:30AM on Shoreline Drive
12:00PM – Canoe Joust at Windjammer
12:00‐4:00PM – Splish n Splash Summer Bash @ Pavillion
12:30PM – Boat Parade (arrival at Windjammer, line‐up @ 11AM)
1:00‐2:00PM – Ski Show at Windjammer
4:30‐7:30PM – Lion’s Club Fish Fry
8:15‐9:15PM – City Ceremonies & Birthday Party
9:30PM – Fireworks on the Lawn under the stars
