Fort Mill – Indian Land SC Welcomes Titanium Holdings and 300 Jobs

In a December 2008 announcement from the S.C. Department of Commerce

Titanium Holdings, Inc. has selected a headquarters location in Fort Mill, S.C. that will accommodate its explosive growth and the strategic expansion it is implementing to meet industry demand. Titanium Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of Titanium Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of homeowner contacting and consulting services.

Titanium Holdings has leased 42,000 square foot of space in the former HSBC Edgewater Office Park building near the intersection of U.S. 521 and S.C. 160 in Indian Land SC. Over the next five years, the company plans to bring up to 300 new jobs to the area to support all of its divisions. (more…)

Surrounded by Wal’s of Retail?

I had to laugh when I read a Fort Mill Times editorial this week about Wal-Mart building a wall of stores around our community. I posted Sunday the news about a new Wal-Mart planned for Highway 21 and Flint Hill road and another store is planned in the Lake Wylie area. What I did not say is Wal-Mart has been planning a new store in Lancaster County on Highway 521 in Indian Land. Wal-Mart and Lancaster County officials did not know when construction will begin of the Indian Land Wal-Mart. (more…)

Continental Tire of North America is moving its headquarters to Lancaster County near Indian Land from Charlotte. The new headquarters office is under construction and is located on Highway 160 near highway 521. (more…)
