Tuesday night the Tega Cay City Council said ok to annexing the land around Gold Hill Middle School and Elementary. The school operations should not change but as stated by Mayor Bob Runde, both the City and the Fort Mill School system will benefit by increased safety officer staffing. Mayor Bob Runde’s Decemeber update email states the city expects to receive an annexation request in time for the December Council Meeting. If approved, both schools will be in the City limits of Tega Cay and our police department will be providing the resource officer for both schools.
