Sugar Creek Garden Center Opening Soon in Fort Mill
Exciting news Tega Cay and Fort Mill! George and Jan Wallace from Tega Cay are opening a new garden center in Fort Mill in Spring 2010. It took vision and nerves of steel, but Jan and George purchased property on Highway 160 at the border of North and South Carolina and are building a premier garden center.
Here is what their website says about their new Sugar Creek Garden Center:
Sugar Creek Garden Center will be a garden center with an atmosphere like a botanical garden and will offer inspirational ideas in a project-based retail operation catering to today’s homeowner demographic. In addition to offering high quality and unique varieties of plants, Sugar Creek Garden Center will offer outdoor living and landscape projects, gardening tools and accessories, gifts, birding items, and houseplants. Sugar Creek Garden Center will also have a design center, knowledgeable staff and exceptional customer service. Sugar Creek Garden Center will be a family oriented garden center hosting seasonal and educational events for children and adults.
Construction began last October.

The rain has slowed progress but you can now see a greenhouse standing. Sugar Creek Garden Center is now hiring. For more information, contact George or Jan at george.wallace@SugarCreekGardenCenter.com or call them at 803-802-2600.
