WCNC reporter Tony Burbeck’s story on Nov 15th, 2011 has confirmed our story back in September 2010 (Is Publix Grocery Coming To Fort Mill SC) that Publix’s grocery will build a 49,000 sq ft store on the corner of Pleasant Rd and Gold Hill Rd in the Fort Mill Township near Tega Cay SC (York County).
Publix also announced it will build a store on Hwy 521 near Dolby’s Bridge Rd in Indian Land in Lancaster County SC.
With the new grocery stores opening in late 2012 or early 2013, comes approximately 100 jobs for each store. See Reporter Burbeck’s video story below.

If you do get a Publix there you will be darn lucky! They are on the same level as Lowe’s foods – which is the best grocery store I ever shopped in when I lived near Fort Mill. Fantastic quality and just a classy, classy company. We have them all over the place in Tampa and I won’t shop anywhere else.

Ops! Publix’s marketing just mailed a coupon post card to the Fort Mill area this week. I received my coupon post card yesterday. Problem is, the $5 off coupon is only valid through Feb 21, 2012. It will be a little tough using the coupon for the new Fort Mill Publix store since they have not yet started the building construction.
Just came back from vacationing in Pompano Beach, Fl. We went to a new Publix there and I saw this section with prepared dinners (steak, cheese & garnish), it was delicious and saved us a lot of money.
I would like to admit my resume to Publix Grocery Store in Fort Mill, SC. I just need to know where I may bring it. I keep calling, but I get no answer. I am very interested in grocery work, and I believe I would be a great assit to Publix.
