There is a new blog in Fort Mill worth mentioning. It’s called ScoopMill.com
tagged as “All the Scoop That’s Fit to Blog”.
The blog is owned by Jane of Fort Mill. Based on the dates of Jane’s blog posts the blog started around the end of January this year. Why did Jane start the Fort Mill based ScoopMill.com? In her words from her website:

Jane’s vision for Scoopmill.com is:
To become the online spot for residents and visitors alike to provide commentary on the goings-on in Fort Mill and the surrounding area.
Jane has been posting articles regularly for the last couple months about Fort Mill events, local businesses, and other news.
I was alerted about her site via Google Alerts (sounds like big brother is watching doesn’t it) when she posted a note about the MOM’s Club in Tega Cay. I contacted Jane to thank her for the MOMS club post. Carmen sponsors the website and I created the website for the MOMS club of Tega Cay. Jane replied and said she was writing a post about foreclosures after seeing Carmen’s foreclosure article. It’s a small world isn’t. That’s why Carmen and I love about Fort Mill. It’s a tight nit, wonderful community we call home.
