Rock Hill, SC
Though it prides itself on its small town feel, Rock Hill is the largest city in York County and the fifth largest in South Carolina. The city is named for a rocky knoll that railroad workers blasted through to grade a roadbed for tracks around 1852. The knoll was one of the highest points between Augusta, GA. and Charlotte. The city was incorporated in 1870.
